Class Descriptions

HIIT:
Stands for High Intensity Interval Training.  Pure and simple: this is the most difficult, yet effective class we have.  In this high energy class you will work for 60 minutes straight, with no rest, performing challenging bodyweight, resistance training, core, and cardiovascular exercises.  Come train hard to pumping music with the slightly psychotic instruction of Tom and Steve every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Show up and expect to watch your body transform! 

Killer Cardio: Need I say more?  This class is intended to keep your body moving for one full calorie burning, heart rate elevating hour.  Steve will be pushing you through bodyweight only exercises with a high metabolic burn in mind and progressive athleticism.  Join Steve on Mondays at 6pm for one of the best cardio workouts your heart can handle.

Core Cardio:
  Is what it says.  In this class, Tom will alternate back and forth between high intensity cardio and abdominal crunching core work for 60 minutes.  Not only will you burn a crazy amount of calories while challenging your cardio limits, you will be tightening that mid-section everyone strives to lose.  Come get your self in REAL shape with Tom every Wednesday at 6pm.

CYCLE: Join us for a ride that will challenge your strength and endurance. For any level of fitness from high-end cyclists to beginners enjoy heart pumping music that motivates you to move and have fun. If you are uncoordinated and self conscious, join a cycle class...we workout in the dark

Beg.Int Weights: A beginner/intermediate resistance training class using various cutting edge trainining techniques to give you a complete workout from head to toe.  In this 60-minute workout expect to improve muscular strength to give your body the athletic look you want.  This particular class intends to challenge your muscular system, but will apply small breaks and far less cardio.  Join Ali every Tuesday night at 7pm or Thursday morning at 9am for a complete full body workout!

YOGA: A 60-minute mind and body altering experience that focuses on improving strength, flexibility and coordination.  The classes can be taken by any member no matter what your skill level.  Our devoted instructors always deliver a challenge with a mind-centering effect.
 

Self-Defense:
  This is an hour class designed to teach the fundamentals of self-defense and situational combat to women.  The session is technique driven as opposed to fitness-oriented.  This club considers this a must for women who have had very little to no self-defense experience.  Come join Jeff to learn how to protect your self and your family in a class held every Friday at 6:30pm.
